FlavorArena respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects visitors to do the same. Every recipe video we feature links back to and plays through the original creator’s YouTube channel — we don’t rehost video content.
If you believe content on FlavorArena infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To be valid, your notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on FlavorArena you claim is infringing, with enough detail (e.g. the page URL) that we can locate it.
- Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Where to send a notice
Submit a notice using our DMCA takedown request form, which walks through each required element above. Notices missing any of the elements above may not receive a response, since we’re not able to act on an incomplete claim.
What happens next
Upon receiving a valid notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the identified content. We may also notify the party responsible for the content in question.
Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice using the same DMCA takedown request form, including your identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
